Knickerbocker Lake Cottages is located on a pristine lake in the Boothbay Region on the coast of Maine, just a five minute walk away from the beautiful Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. http://www.mainegardens.org/ Boothbay Harbor is well known as one of the premier boating centers along the New England coast. You may spend your time exploring secluded coves, while hiking twenty-five miles of nature trails maintained by the Boothbay Region Land Trust (http://www.bbrlt.org/Hiking.htm ), browsing among the many little shops in the Harbor, or taking advantage of the numerous scenic cruises or sport fishing trips available. There are many fine restaurants where you can enjoy fresh Maine seafood. Our four cottages are in a private wooded area on a secluded end of the lake. We have a roomy central grassy area, a sandy beach ideal for swimming, rowboats, and a canoe that you may use for fishing (bass and trout) or exploring other parts of the lake. It's about a one mile walk or ride to the center of Boothbay Harbor. Some other nearby activities that you may enjoy are; golf, tennis, art galleries, craft shops, museums, ocean beaches, and sailing. We can accommadate larger family groups in either the White cottage/Chesuncook cottage combo or the large Cedar cottage.

WHITE COTTAGE - 2 bedrooms (1 QUEEN SIZE & 2 single beds) - screened porch and open deck on water's edge - tub/shower - -separate bunk house w/double bed available (add $100.00/wk+$7.00 St.Sales Tax)
CHESUNCOOK COTTAGE(near white cottage) - 1 bedroom (1 DOUBLE BED) - screened porch and large open deck with water view - stall shower - (does not have complete kitchen)
BROWN COTTAGE - 1 bedroom w/ KING SIZE bed (plus small bunk room w/single bed) - wood stove - open deck on water's edge - large stall shower - separate bunk house w/double bed available (add $100.00/wk+$7.00 St.Sales Tax)(sheets are provided for king-size bed)

IMPORTANT NOTES: - In the kitchen you will find: a coffee maker, a toaster, dishes, pots & pans and utensils (for cooking and eating). We do not provide paper goods. Each cottage has a fold-out living room couch or futon, plus a microwave and gas-grill. Please note that we do not provide linens; please bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels (pillows and blankets/comforters are provided-we also have king size sheets available for the brown cabin if you need them). Each cottage has a TV/VCR or dvd player (there is limited broadcast tv reception with rabbit ear antennas). These are housekeeping cottages and we ask that you please leave the cottage as clean as you found it. You may use the canoe or rowboat at any time on a first come basis. Please bring your own life jackets. Some life jackets are available upon request.
RESERVATIONS:: PLEASE NOTE!!! WE RENT ON A FRIDAY TO FRIDAY BASIS!! Cottages are available on a weekly basis from April through October (off-season rates available). Check-in time is 2 PM on Friday and check-out time is 11 AM the following Friday. A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the entire balance to be paid in full by 30 days prior to your stay. You may E-mail this form to:
