FTP SETTINGS

Uploading to Personal Web Server:

Settings for uploading to home.gwi.net with a FTP client.

Username: Your username
Password: Your password
Remote Host: home.gwi.net
Local Initial Directory: This is the directory on your computer where your web files are located.
Publishing Path: public/www
(Some programs like Netscape Composer and FrontPage require the full path.)
Publishing Full Path: ftp://home.gwi.net/public/www/
Uploading to Commercial Web Server:

Settings for uploading to Commercial Apache Web Server with a FTP client.

Username: WWWusername
Password: Your password (This will be different from your dialup account password)
Remote Host: Your URL (e.g. www.mydomain.com)
Local Initial Directory: This is the directory on your computer where your web files are located.
Publishing Path: Do not specify a path.
(Some programs like Netscape Composer require the full path.)
Publishing Full Path: ftp://www.mydomain.com/
