USING GWI TO CONNECT TO AOL

AOL has included a way to connect to them through your ISP. This is for AOL customers who may have to dial long distance to reach the closest AOL Hub. This is a great opportunity to use AOL with our service. Here are the steps below to change AOL to use an ISP rather than Dial-in. Note: Check with AOL for a discounted rate.

Double-click on your AOL icon. Click on Setup.

Choose the option Create a location for use with new access phone numbers or an ISP and then click on Next.

Click on Add a custom connection (for example, TCP/IP) and then click on Next.

That is all there is to setting up AOL to connect using an ISP! Click on OK. You must connect to GWI first, then launch AOL.
