CHANGE THE PHONE NUMBER IN WINDOWS NT

The screen shots below provide step-by-step instructions on how to change your dial-up access phone number on your computer. You may want to write these steps down or print them for reference. To change your number, you will need to disconnect from the Internet, go to your main computer screen, then follow these instructions. If you have any problems, please contact our Technical Support Team.
Please Note: When using the Travel Access Service number shown below to dial in to the Internet or to check email, you will be billed at a rate of $.09 per minute for all time spent online using this number. We recommend you use this phone number only when you are in a location that prohibits you from using your regular access number, and that you change this number back as soon as you return.

GWI will not be responsible for any charges incurred while using this number, and will not reimburse funds due to a failure to change back to a local dial-up number.


You can get to Dial Up Networking from the Start Menu as shown.




Click on More, then click on Edit Entry and Modem Properties.




Remove the old access number and replace it with 1-877-217-1118 as shown and click OK.




You're ready to dial.
