Is your Outlook Express set up? If not, go to our Software Set-up Section first. Choose version 4.0 or 5.0 depending on which one you have. If so, continue with these instructions.
Open Outlook Express and click on New Mail. You may want to be online if you want to follow through and actually send someone an attachment.

Go ahead and type in the email address which you are sending to. You can type something in the Subject field indicating you are sending an attachment. Click on the Attach Button.

The file I want to attach is located in my Temp folder. Simply browse to the folder in which you have the file you want to attach. Keep in mind you do not want to attach a very large file. GWI has a 5meg limit. Also, will the intended recipient be able to download a very large file? For best results, keep file attachments under 1meg.

Click on the file you want to attach and then click on the Attach button.

Notice the attached file. Go ahead and click on send. If you have Outlook Express set to send immediately, the message will be sent now. If you queue your messages you will see the next screen.

The message now sits in your Outbox waiting until the next time Outlook Express Sends and Receives or until you click on the Send and Receive button. That's it!
