GWI has partnered with Postini to provide you the latest tools to prevent viruses and junk email from reaching your computer. GWI provides this service free as part of our commitment to bring you the best Internet service available.

What's best about these new features is that you decide whether you want to use them and to what degree. You select what types of SPAM you want to filter out and to what degree. You decide whether you want to use the virus protection feature. And you can change your selections any time you want. This service features an online interface that makes it easy!

Also, these services are private and secure. The junk email and virus protection is an automated process. Nobody has access to your email except you. Nobody will read your email and your email is never censored.
SPAM Filtering:

The Junk Email Assistant is the one of the best anti-spam solutions available. It is the only spam blocker that puts you in control. You define exactly what level of protection you want, and what is spam and what isn't. With the Junk Email Assistant, you can block up to 95% of your SPAM.

You will have your own, password-protected Message Center with an easy to use interface that allows you to adjust filter settings from lenient to aggressive, select the type of email you want blocked (Get Rich Quick, Sexually Explicit, Special Offers, and Racially Insensitive), and to “approve” or “block” specific senders or entire domains.

How it Works:
  • You will receive an activation notification with instructions on how to access your Message Center and how set up junk email filtering and virus protection.

  • Suspicious email is directed to your personal, web-based, password-protected Message Center (it does not arrive at your computer's in box). Think of this as a quarantine area. In your Message Center you can read the quarantined email online, delete it, or deliver (forward) it to your in box.
  • Initially you should visit your Message Center often because it "remembers and learns" from your interaction. As time goes on you will be able to rely on the periodic notifications of your Message Center activity.
  • You can chose to "block" specific senders; meaning email from them will always be filtered. Or you can "approve" senders; meaning their email will always be delivered.
  • This service is completely controlled by you. You decide whether to activate the service, how you want your filters set, and you can change or deactivate your filters at any time.
