VWS ACTIVATION FORM

This form is solely for the activation of Virtual Web Servers with existing domain names. If you have not started the registration process for your domain name, then you need to complete our DNS Registration form before proceeding. If your domain is not hosted with GWI, we can still setup a VWS for it. However, this is not recommended, as there will be multiple parties for you to contact in the event of changes needing to be made or if problems occur. We strongly suggest that you transfer your domain to GWI if you wish to have GWI host a VWS for it. Please see our Domain Name Hosting section for information on how to transfer your domain to us.

VWS INFORMATION

Domain Name

Type in the domain name of the Virtual Web Server you would like to activate.
i.e., www.yourdomain.com


Home Directory
If the pages for your domain are already uploaded on a Great Works Internet server, please enter the path name of where the files are kept, and select which server they are on.
i.e., /usr/u/your-user-name/public/www/ or http://www.site.com/path/

VWS Server     home.gwi.net

Please note: your VWS will be setup on one of GWI's commercial web servers, regardless of where your files are currently kept. These servers have more advanced features and security available to them. Please see our Services Request Page for available features.


SERVICE PLAN
Basic Service includes 10MB of space and 100MB data transfer at a cost of $10/month
Deluxe Service includes 20MB of space and 1GB data transfer at a cost of $25/month
Small Business Service includes 200MB of space and 20GB data transfer at a cost of $45/month
